The following public notices relate to matters on the May 9, 2018 agenda for the Ackley City Council:
PUBLIC NOTICE FOR BIDS
The CITY OF ACKLEY is requesting bids for two separate properties. Both properties are empty lots. One property is locally known as 702 State Street, Ackley, Iowa, more specifically described as Lot 10, Block 50, Ackley, Hardin County, Iowa. The other property is parcel ID 891902227005 and is located on Sherman Ave. Such bids are to be signed and submitted in writing on the template bid form in a sealed envelope to City Hall no later than the 8th day of May, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. The template form is available to prospective bidders at City Hall located at 208 State St., Ackley, Iowa. The top three bidders on each property may raise their bid at the conclusion of the respective public hearing on the matter of the sale of said properties to be held on the 9th day of May, 2018 at 7:00 p.m.

The City Council of Ackley, Iowa shall hold a public hearing on the 9th day of May, 2018, at 7:00 p.m. in the Ackley Civic Center, 640 Main Street, Ackley, Iowa on the matter of the sale of property known as parcel ID 891902227005 in Ackley, Iowa, more specifically described as Lots 10-11, Block 2, Ackley, Hardin County, Iowa. All members of the public are invited to attend and may make statements concerning the matter of sale. In addition, comments may be submitted in writing at that time, or before, to the City Clerk, and said comments shall be made a part of the public record concerning this hearing.

All members of the public are invited to attend and may make statements concerning the matter of amendment. In addition, comments may be submitted in writing at that time, or before, to the City Clerk, and said comments shall be made a part of the public record concerning this hearing.
