Fishing at Prairie Bridges
Prairie Bridges Park is
home to 12 acres of abandoned gravel quarries. These quarries
were excavated and linked with water passageways. Fishing areas
are accessible by small boats with electric motors or canoes.
The ponds have been stocked with large mouth bass, small mouth bass,
and most recently 3,000 hybrid blue gill. Fishing is also
accessible through a 14' x 16' handicapped accessible dock, cleared
shoreline, or numerous bridges.
Hybrid bluegill limit of 5 per licensed fisherman per day. |
